We all work or will work in our jobs with many different kinds of people. In your opinion, what are some important characteristics of a co-worker(someone you work closely with)? Use reasons and specific examples to explain why these characteristics are important.
Almost all people in the world get their own job and work hard. If I become adult, then I have to get a job as soon as possible. Co-workers are the people who I met during the working, and it means that the meeting with co-workers are inevitable. We can met people who feel uneasy with co-workers in our life easily. Our parents, teachers, big sister or someone else. As all relationship does, relationship with co-workers is important too for well being life. The biggest points of remain good relationship with co-workers are their ability, personality, and politeness.
Companies do not hire every people. They hire few people who are suitable to that company's characteristics. If my co-worker is not fit with the job's characteristics and keep making problems, I will get stress a lot. I think "co-worker" is very different with "friend". There are several more conditions to be the nice person to co-worker than be the nice person to friends. That's the reason why they don't say friend to co-worker. (They can become friend, but they are still co-worker during they work.)
There is very famous note,
"You should see that person's personality before be a friend"
If we change a friend to a co-worker. I'm sure that it's still a great sentence. We cannot choose our co-worker actually if we are not CEO, but that the personality takes a enormous part in relationship is truth. If my co-worker said something improper mention in front of me, I don't think I cannot be 'co'-worker with him or her. I have the friend who submit her resignation because of her co-worker. She said that he said very rudely in several times. As same as this, we always should be careful with our mention.
I believe politeness is the prominent element in both western and here. It makes one person's first impressions, and make us to keep a good relationship. Improper mention is one kind of rudeness, too. I think the politeness is the most important one in the relationship 'cause we can cover our drawbacks of personality by being polite. Don't break into that person's personal space, and work the things that they have to do at least or something more are the things of politeness in my opinion.
Me and every teens in the world have to choose our own job in a few years. We cannot choose our co-worker by our hand, but I wish my co-worker would keep these things-or only the very last thing is okay, too-. Ability that is fit with that company's characteristic, and being polite is not that hard one I think. All these things are up to our own hand.
